Drip Coffee

⏱ 5–8 min· Easy

The everyday classic. Simple, consistent, and perfect for showcasing our medium roasts.

Ratio1:16 (1g coffee per 16g water)
GrindMedium
Water Temp195–205°F (90–96°C)

Steps

1 Use fresh cold water and a clean filter
2 Measure 1g of coffee per 16g of water
3 Grind to a medium consistency
4 Add coffee to filter and pour water slowly
5 Brew and enjoy immediately
Pro Tip

Rinse your paper filter with hot water before brewing to remove any paper taste and preheat your carafe.

French Press

⏱ 4 min· Easy

Full-bodied and rich. The French press lets the oils from the beans come through, creating a heavier, more complex cup.

Ratio1:15 (1g coffee per 15g water)
GrindCoarse
Water Temp200°F (93°C)

Steps

1 Preheat your French press with hot water
2 Add coarsely ground coffee to the press
3 Pour hot water over grounds and stir gently
4 Place lid on top (don't press yet)
5 Steep for 4 minutes then press slowly
6 Pour immediately and enjoy
Pro Tip

Don't let it sit after pressing — pour all the coffee out to avoid over-extraction and bitterness.

🌿

Pour Over

⏱ 3–4 min· Intermediate

The clearest, brightest expression of a coffee's origin. Ideal for our single-origin light and medium roasts.

Ratio1:15 (1g coffee per 15g water)
GrindMedium-Fine
Water Temp200–205°F (93–96°C)

Steps

1 Rinse filter and preheat your vessel
2 Add ground coffee and shake level
3 Start timer and pour 2x the coffee weight in water (bloom)
4 Wait 30 seconds for the bloom to release gases
5 Continue pouring slowly in circular motions
6 Total brew should finish in 3–4 minutes
Pro Tip

The bloom step is crucial — it degasses the coffee and leads to a more even extraction and cleaner flavor.

Espresso

⏱ 25–30 sec· Advanced

Intense, concentrated, and the base for lattes and cappuccinos. Our dark roasts shine as espresso.

Ratio1:2 (18g in / 36g out)
GrindVery Fine
Water Temp195–205°F (90–96°C)

Steps

1 Preheat your machine and portafilter
2 Grind 18g of coffee very fine
3 Distribute evenly and tamp with 30 lbs of pressure
4 Lock in portafilter and start shot immediately
5 Target 36g of espresso in 25–30 seconds
6 Adjust grind finer if too fast, coarser if too slow
Pro Tip

Consistency is everything in espresso. Keep your dose, tamp pressure, and grind size the same every time until you dial in your shot.

Moka Pot

⏱ 5 min· Easy

The Latin kitchen staple. Strong, bold, and deeply satisfying — the traditional way to make café con leche at home.

RatioFill basket level (don't pack)
GrindFine-Medium
Water TempPre-boiled hot water

Steps

1 Fill bottom chamber with hot water to the valve
2 Fill basket with ground coffee — level but don't tamp
3 Screw top and bottom together tightly
4 Place on medium-low heat with lid open
5 Remove from heat when you hear a hissing sound
6 Pour immediately and serve with warm milk
Pro Tip

Use pre-boiled water in the bottom chamber to avoid over-heating the grounds before brewing, which can cause bitterness.
